Knox 3.11, SDK restrictions for Android 15
Hello everyone , Does anyone use knox sdk restricted method ? We have an app that has a driving mode and the apps is used for security purpose . Of course the app use know high restrictions feature like disable apps or enable/disable voice restrictions . Our xcover on android 15 , we have a message error that's say the app is not running in device owner mode : SecurityException: Caller is not DO or PO or KPU. According to Samsung post here , our app in android 15 will loose many restrictions we use . My question is how we can update to android 15 ? Our device is managed by Ivanti . The device owner of our device is the ivanti app and thus it can use knox sdk restrictions . I am pretty sure we can't have 2 apps being device owner if i am not wrong but i didn't find the proof yet . Sounds like the solution is to manage our device with only our EMM which doesn't satisfy our needs . Does anyone have any other idea ? It's a specific case actually .SolvedVin2K2 days agoLevel 1.6: Donut42Views0likes6CommentsGoogle Messages App: SMS to shortcode not able to send
Our Provider (Vodafone Germany) is using a SMS shortcode number to be able to order an upgrade on dataplans by sms. Once the monthly contract plan (e.g. 1 GB) have been used users will receive a sms from 70997 to inform that you can answer the SMS with "1" or "2" to restore your data connectivity. We ran into the issue that the Google Messages app seems to have some sort of bug with sending SMS to this kind of shortcode number as it alway says "Not sent" in red error text. Provider tech support told me that the Google messages app is prefixing the number with "49" resulting in a wrong / unknown number (4970997). They cannot fix that from their side as the issue is within Google messages app and asked me to install a 3rd party messages app.... *ugly* Is this something I can request to investigate from here? I will also create a case with Samsung tech support as we are mainly using Samsung devices as our corp. device fleet. Thank you! Hi everyone, As of some weeks, Intune started showing the tenant name on the lockscreen. Where it used to say "this device belongs to your organisation" it now says: " This device belongs to company name" . Since this is a big no for most of our customers, I was wondering if other people noticed this as well and maybe even found a solution for it. Microsoft support admitted that they changed this, but they will now help us getting it fixed or even giving us the option to enable or disable this. Showing the company name on a device can make a device more interesting to people who might find a lost or stolen device. Therefore, we never show company names or logo's on the lock screen. And most customers we work with expect that kind of behaviour. We currently have to project on hold because if this detail. (And its costing us extra business because they are not buying the hardware that comes with it 😅) I hope someone else is having more luck! In the meantime I'm escalating this via other companies in our group with better MS connections but those take some time. And if you haven't noticed this issue, please be aware of it. As far as we know, only Intune has done this. Knox, Workspace one and Mobile Iron are not showing this message. Samsung has replied that this is absolutly not right in their opinion. Its a big risk for companies.Michel2 days agoLevel 3.0: Honeycomb1.2KViews1like24CommentsHow to become an Android EMM partner

We're building an Emm solution so while testing I enabled FRP and thought of giving it a shot. So, after factory resetting all i can see is a google window asking me to verify with the account that was previously in the device. What I cannot understand is there was no account signed in except the one google created ( the managed account with the briefcase thingy ). I'd like to understand how can i recover it now? i do have some of the device details on enterprise.devices.get endpoint. Any help would be much appreciated! Hello Everyone, I've noticed that the OnePlus 13 is not included in the Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) devices list, which can be found here: https://androidenterprisepartners.withgoogle.com/devices/#!?search=Oneplus. While the OnePlus 12 is currently listed, I'm curious to know when the OnePlus 13 might be added. My work profile on the OnePlus 13 was functioning properly for the past three weeks but has suddenly stopped working today. I discovered that the absence of the OnePlus 13 from the AER list could be the cause, although I'm puzzled as to why there were no issues until now. Could someone provide insight into whether the OnePlus 13 will be added to the AER list in the near future? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.Solvedsatheesh2k84 days agoLevel 1.5: Cupcake573Views0likes6CommentsLink Android Zero Touch Portal with Access Management Tool

Dear Android Enterprise Team and Community, I hope you're doing well. I submitted the “Get in touch” form on the Android Enterprise website and received the confirmation email on May 30, which I have already responded to. However, I haven’t received any follow-up or contact from a specialist since then. We are exploring Android Enterprise solutions for our business and are interested in understanding the next steps to get started. Could someone from the team or community please assist or guide me on how to proceed? If additional information is required from my side, I’d be happy to provide it. Thank you for your support. Does anyone know if it's possible to allow an android tablet to connect to captive portals whilst in Kiosk mode. I am currently trying to configure Intunes to allow this and cannot find a way to allow the tablet user to connect to a Captive portal as this is being restricted. Upon the device being configured and connecting to Wi-Fi it does not display the Wi-Fi landing page to allow access. Has anyone come across this issue whilst using Intunes\Kiosk mode specifically with Android devices?
