Android for digital signage?
haha okay thats indeed not possible, its about time they get that sorted because I can already hear my colleagues working with apple shouting, " we can manage our Apple TV's without problems😈"
Since you are a Microsoft focused company, you might find some cheaper Teams rooms solutions (that either run Windows or Android), those can be managed with Intune and can be used for narrow casting in meeting rooms (Dual function) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/digital-signage
Lol yeah when JAMF announced you can manage Apple Vision Pros I laughed 🤣.
We are actually trying to push Teams rooms for our conference room spaces but unfortunately they don't work as a digital signage solution. MS doesn't support the digital signage mode on Android-based MTRs only on Windows....which is the exact thing we are trying to get away from. Thanks for the suggestion though!
hmm that sucks. Microsoft is not making friends with me the past few weeks. I'll add this to the list haha
