Device provisioning failures
Is anybody having issues onboarding devices into their EMM?
We are getting a lot of issues where devices are getting stuck at "Updating device" (see picture below), and it has been like that since approximately Jan. 27 2025.
Behavior looks similar to the current report that was recently sent and that announces a fix for the issue but we are still experiencing it on our end.
"Customers may experience device provisioning failures for devices managed using the Android Management API. This outage only affects devices with a policy that includes apps with ‘installType=REQUIRED_FOR_SETUP’ in the APAC region. Affected devices will stall at the ‘Install work apps’ screen, with a continuously spinning progress indicator. The Android Enterprise team is aware of the issue and a fix was released to resolve the issue as of 18:00 GMT 31 Jan 2025."

"Install work apps" is a different screen than the one you see here "Updating device".
So there could be something different being stuck.I recommend to check if you can update your device (looks like a Zebra TCXX devices) to a newer OEM version and try again. Don't forget to wipe it (entirely as Zebra has also a dedicaded enterprise storage) to ensure nothing on the device is left causing any issues.
Otherwise you should ask Zebra about it directly to investigate.

Dear Sir, Make sure that above device must be supported by Android Enterprise ZT Supportable device or not. If device supported then make sure your policy created in android management api must be proper.
