New devices only receive "Enterprise Default Profile" instead of a custom profile
Hi all and thanks for your help in advance
We purchased new Samsung devices from our reseller and the devices showed up in ZT, I removed the Enterprise default profile and setup few custom profiles (Microsoft Intune). and I set one of the custom profiles to be set as the default profile for new devices.
The issue is that the device we purchased got assigned "Enterprise Default Profile" by default which already been removed!
Is there any way to force new devices no to get the "Enterprise Default Profile" by default? the profile already gone

I guess in this case you should contact your reseller (the one who created the portal access for you). They need to investigate and reach out to Google via the partner portal.

Hi there!
To get rid of the enterprise default profile you should unlink ZT from your MDM. As far as I recall even adjusting the default config doesn't override the enterprise default.

As you are using Intune, did you use the bulk enrollment zero touch connection from the intune enrollment menu? If yes, disable that. It's garbage.
For Samsung devices you can use Samsung Knox (Free, or paid if you want advanced functions), or Android zero touch. That last one can be linked to intune in two ways:
- The connection described above
- Creating a profile directly in Android zero touch and point the devices to Intune (recommend method). This is direct link to what you need to follow and ignore what it says above the header in the link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/android-dedicated-devices-fully-managed-enroll#create-configuration-in-zero-touch-enrollment-portal
