Zero Touch - Enterprise default configuration not applied automatically
To risk repeating myself (sorry!) if the profile Intune created in ZT as the Default Enterprise Profile is not working correctly, but others do, it's a configuration issue with Intune.
Have you read through the intune docs and are you using the supported deployment scenario for this? Perhaps remove and re-add the integration following the docs and try once more.
Hi,
We have only one configuration profile and it’s for MDM Ms Intune.
Set as Default, not effective at device setup time. Need to manually assign it later to the device and have the device reset. The SAME profile works when assigned manually…

Hello!
Did you ever resolve this issue?
We are having the exact same problem, only have one profile set up as default in ZT dash, but when retailer adds devices it just appears as enterprise default configuration instead of my custom profile (set as default).
After changing it manually in ZT it works, but it's a hassle when we get 100 phones in one go and since I can't multiselect in ZT it creates a lot of unnecessary manual labor unfortunately...

Disconnect from Intune/your MDM. The enterprise default config is created when ZT is linked to an MDM and if the MDM doesn't configure it properly, it will not work.
The behaviour you're describing matches the issue seen with Intune not setting the appropriate policy for ZT to enrol into, but it's default and you're manually switching to your own default. Just disconnect the ZT link and set your custom policy as the default in configurations

Hi, and thanks for the answer... I tried that before but it factory reset all the phones that were delivered in the last batch that were in ZT portal after they were started by users... Maybe I did something wrong in the process, just don't want that to happen again 🙂
