Hello Android Enterprise community
Im currently exploring options for monitoring Android devices used in a dental care environment. The devices in question are hand scanners, specifically designed for dental use, and there is no private use intended. Our goal is to monitor key metrics like battery usage, device drops, and GPS location to ensure theyre functioning optimally and to track their whereabouts for maintenance purposes.
I was thinking of using an open-source Zabbix server to monitor the devices. My plan is to send data via endpoints to get insights into network performance, battery health, and general device status. Has anyone implemented Zabbix for Android devices in a similar way before? Do you think it’s a good solution for this use case? Are there any potential challenges I should be aware of?
I’d also appreciate any advice on best practices for implementing such a system especially when it comes to ensuring data accuracy and performance monitoring in a healthcare setting.
Thanks in advance for your insights
Best regards
Paul Stefaan
