Re: [Customer Story] How Android Enterprise works for this healthcare provider
Thanks Lizzie !! Oh yes, we've got a team of people that are constantly gathering feedback from our clinicians and turning that into productive actions. Help guides, instructional videos, training sessions, etc. The Home Health industry has a high turnover rate, so we're always striving to support our clinicians as best we can. Thanks jasonbayton ! Good questions! 1. We use Knox Mobile Enrollment to point our tablets to our MDM (Samsung equivalent to Zero Touch). We've been using Knox Configure to manage a few settings, but we're now moving to Knox Platform for Enterprise OEM config policies with the Knox Service Plugin app. 2. We have a subset of devices that get the updates on day 1 so we can test and make sure our apps and everything work correctly. The rest of our fleet gets the updates after a few weeks. 3. Yes, unfortunately Samsung went a long time without releasing a new tablet for that line. We're looking into refreshing later this year now that the A9 has been released.988Views4likes0CommentsRe: OEM Config Policy with Samsung Knox Service Plugin
Thank you. Yes, I believe we meet all the prerequisites. We are using Intune MDM with the "Fully Managed" Android Enterprise devices. We have a managed Google Play Store and I've deployed Knox Service Plugin as a required app. I've been able to get it working in the past, yet it is not working now for some reason. Through my ticket with Samsung, I sent them some logs. There seems to be some conflict between the app and the OS (Android 13). It attempting to start a foreground service, but getting denied.4.6KViews0likes0CommentsOEM Config Policy with Samsung Knox Service Plugin
I am deploying the Knox Service Plugin app and a Configuration policy through my MDM (Microsoft Intune). The app successfully installs on the device, and the policy shows as successfully applied. However the setting I am trying to configure (Screen Timeout = 5 minutes) is not configuring. If I manually open the KSP app on the device and select Apply Latest Configuration, the setting successfully gets configured. How do I make the setting configure without manual intervention?4.8KViews1like4CommentsRe: New to the community? Introduce yourself here...
Hi Community! My name is Travis Reeves and I work at Amedisys, supporting Home Health and Hospice clinicians. Our clinicians use Android Enterprise Fully Managed tablets to document their visits in the patient's home. I started supporting the tablets for 2 years, and have been the Intune MDM Administrator for the past 4 years. Our team is currently trying to find a better device enrollment process for our users, since they are largely not very tech savvy. We like using the Android Enterprise Fully Managed devices, but would love an easier and quicker way to get the device fully set up. I'm not sure if I can keep up with all you exercisers, lol. In my free time I mostly spend it indoors watching TV Shows, movies, or playing video games. I'm also a huge American Football fan, and watch some other sports when football isnt on, lol. For tech, I'm most interested in learning more about AI and how we can leverage it in different ways. I feel like we're still just scratching the surface on its potential.12KViews8likes1Comment
