Re: Is there any way to disable Google Play Protect (GPP) from an EMM or to otherwise whitelist apps from scanning?
Hi, Can you please confirm which enrollment types are covered under "Fully Managed devices or Managed Work Profiles". When looking at the available solution sets from the Google Developer page (Android Enterprise feature list | Google for Developers) It talks about the following four. work profile on personally-owned device work profile on company-owned device fully managed device dedicated device If you can please clarify if "Fully Managed devices" includes both fully managed and dedicated devices? Thanks!3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Best practices: retaining control of the Google accounts which manage your Android Enterprise organisation
Hey Lizzie , Maybe we are in a unique situation where we setup our managed play store a few years back where you had to create a normal gmail account to complete the setup. We were not a Google workspace setup then and still not fully either. I would prefer the Additional account owners/admins be tied to our corporate email accounts, so access is life cycled with that account. I do not want to create more rouge accounts as backup accounts. Maybe we can have a one to one conversation so I can give more details if needed? Thanks!3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Best practices: retaining control of the Google accounts which manage your Android Enterprise organisation
Hi, Tried to add additional account holders but it says "G Suite users are not supported". How do we go about adding additional users to our managed play store accounts? Are we not able to use our corporate email address for these additional users?3.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Enterprise Play service/Managed Google Play support
Yes, we did try many different avenues to get this resolved but the EMMs and Device hardware partners did not help much. It would be good if there was a way for enterprise customers to reach and talk to Google directly about this as, it has a big domino effect when these accounts are deleted or suspended without notice.1.7KViews0likes1CommentRe: Private apps in managed Play store
If "Aren't subject to the same checks as other apps" still true, any idea why a LOB app will get flagged as we need to provide Google a way to authenticate to test our app? From my understanding is that when we upload apps into the private managed play store none of those checks are required.1.7KViews0likes0CommentsPrivate apps in managed Play store
Can someone please confirm if this support page is still accurate when it comes to a private app being checked? "Aren't subject to the same checks as other apps. As a result, they can't be converted to public apps. Are non-transferrable. You can't transfer ownership of an app to a different Play Developer account." From -> Publish private apps from managed Play in your EMM console - Managed Google Play Help We recently had to deal with an issue that came about from one of our private apps.1.8KViews0likes2Comments
