Renaming Managed Google Play Organization
Doing well thank you sir.
Our MDM provider is Microsoft (Intune). I've logged a premier support ticket with them (2405310050001301 ) but still awaiting a response.
Any advise would be good around if the above user managed to get this renamed?

no, we did not manage to get it renamed yet.
Microsoft is still playing the "What are you talking about? What is the problem? Just unenroll ALL Android Devices ..."-Card.
If this is the only "solution", we consider switching MDM if we have to unenroll anyway.

We have a premier support ticket open (Not sure if you have normal or premier support and even then if its any better than 'normal') but if we get no traction I'll see if our MS Partner manager can help. I'll report back with the outcome of the ticket & partner support assistance either way... based on the other threads I'm going to say lets not hold our breath though, but fingers crossed. - ReeceK9 months agoFormer Community Manager

Hey AdamBrowne ,
we finally managed to get our lab tenant connector renamed at least by Microsoft without unenrolling all devices beforehand, since Microsoft warned it may affect existing devices to rename without unenrolling.
As far as we can tell the existing testdevices were not harmed by the renaming, but the new connector name will only show on newly enrolled devices after the renaming. We are still in testing though.

Please keep us posted - I'm in the same boat running into dead ends with both Microsoft and Google. I still have a support ticket open with Microsoft. Any tips you can provide that could help me point the Microsoft Support person in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I still cannot believe this is such a difficult issue to get resolved! It's VERY frustrating!

How did you manage getting this updated without disconnecting/reconnecting the Google Play account in Intune?
