We have the Android devices enrolling via ZTE and configs. But, my client is asking if there is a way to skip the Google account screen without relying on the user to click skip. We do have a Device Restriction policy that will take effect after enrollment is complete that will block Google accounts. But, they are asking if there is a way to not display this screen at all during ZTE. Thanks!

How do they enroll the device (which mode) as it sounds weird for me that this is being shown or is this something Intune specific?
To be honest we use only fully managed device and i don't remember the behavior for COPE from my short tests.

Google Zero Touch (Fully Managed) is how they are being enrolled. When they purchase them from Verizon, they are automatically tied to their Intune tenant. When the user starts up the phone, it asks for their company creds to verify Intune licensing and to finish the enrollment. However, it still pops up and asks for Google credentials for the Google services. Wondering if that can be skipped somehow. We do have a device restriction policy that will take effect later to block the usage of Google accounts. But, they don't want this screen to display for users.

Not sure which one you are referring to. Intune staging? Or Google Zero Touch?

Thanks! I gave that to them as an option. But, they wanted to be able to send phones directly from the carrier to the user which is the purpose of Google Zero Touch. However, the good thing about Intune staging is it cuts down on the user part of the enrollment.

You can still use Android Zero touch but need to change the configuration on the zero touch portal to target the new enrollment method.
