Intune - Tenant has been unbound via the Google Play console

Hi All,

I've run into an issue where I was unable to enroll any new devices. I've done some troubleshooting with Microsoft. When checking the Google Managed Account it still shows as connected and when checking on Google play Admin portal the Organisation is still there. If I go to add a new app i get the following message: It looks like your tenant has been unbound via the Google Play console

Is there any way to get this bound again without having to re-enroll all the devices as the Intune portal suggests when you disconnect the account?

Thanks in advance

Tom

    Hello tomwinchester,

Thanks for sharing this. We actually created a guide on rebinding enterprise accounts early in the year, have you seen this: Best practices: retaining control of the Google accounts which manage your Android Enterprise organisation

It sounds like you need to create a new gmail account to bind to the enterprise. If this is what is happening here, then you should be able to rebind the enterprise and then continue where you left off. The best way to rebind a new gmail account on to your existing enterprise is for Intune to raise a ticket with Google and this will be updated.

I hope this is helpful, please do keep me posted if you can on how you get on.

Thank you and hope you get this sorted soon.

    Lizzie

      Hi Lizzie,

Thanks for the message. I've had a look through that article. So we still have access to the Google Account but it seems to have lost it's link. I only stumbled across this when went to try and add a new App as described above. I do have an active case open with Microsoft around this initially as enrollment problems, but since we've discovered it looks like the link isn't working they've now said I need to raise a support ticket with Google. Do you have any recommendations as to where to raise this with as I've struggled to find anywhere and MS haven't offered to support me with raising a request etc. Surprising as looking through all the posts on here it sounds unfortunately like a really common issue.

      Thanks for the support.
