We need this for sure. I will also demand a DCR request with MS this is very nice feature from google. But in MS Intune we are missing this. I hope you meant this feature correct “ https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/device-restrictions-android-enterprise-personal#:~:text=Search%20work%20contacts%20from%20personal%20profile:%20Block%20prevents%20users%20from%20searching%20for%20work%20contacts%20in%20apps%20in%20the%20personal%20profile.%20When%20set%20to%20Not%20configured%20(default)%2C%20Intune%20doesn't%20change%20or%20update%20this%20setting.%20By%20default%2C%20the%20OS%20might%20allow%20searching%20for%20work%20contacts%20in%20the%20personal%20profile.“115Views1like0CommentsRe: Android Enterprise Recommended and Supported OS version for BYOD device with Work Profile?.
thanks for your From Q4 we are planning to apply N-2 approach for Android (15,14,13) and devices with security patches < 365 days. Are you accessing the account via EMM or Play Console? : Both, for Apps via Emm, for managing Admin account via Playconsole Is this the Google account associated with EMM Binding? Yes, Have you established a recovery email for this work account in the event of a password reset? this was missed by us. hence facing the pain now. Note : we are able to login with the password, But 2factor auth phone number is the blocker which is not allowing us to login in to the google account itself.2KViews0likes0CommentsManaged Google Play Account (Work email address login) : 2factor authentication reset , help !

sorry, but this the working link : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/device-restrictions-android-enterprise-personal . Yes, even we reconfigured with Password Complexity as medium its demanding the Device level password change which we don't want.4.3KViews1like0CommentsRe: Work Profile Password Complexity affects Personal Space device password that unlocks the device : Intune
Yes, our target is also the same. But Microsoft Intune doesn't allow this and explained here "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/device-restrictions-android-enterprise-personal" -> with Android 12 and above -> Choosing Password Complexity as Medium/High affects both the Device / Work password to meet the complexity requirements. i feel its overcontrolling the end users personal space when we activate with AE.4.3KViews1like2CommentsWork Profile Password Complexity affects Personal Space device password that unlocks the device : Intune
Hi, Personally owned devices with a work profile running on Android 12 and above devices today, we are over controlling their personal space by demanding complex password setup. there are two passwords affected by this Password complexity setting in Intune : The device password that unlocks the device The work profile password that allows users to access the work profile Even we choose medium complexity, user are getting a notification to change the device password to complex. this is not feasible for the BYOD scenario. Yes, i can understand security perspective avoid simple passcode, but policy shouldn't force for lengthy and complex passwords. how you configured this password complexity your environment ?.4.4KViews1like7CommentsRe: Exporting the MDM (Security) policy installed in my Work Profile (BYOD)

In the past i faced this issue with MobileIron EMM for our BYOD WORK PROFILE : sometime this resolution was helpful to reset the PLAYCATALOG and Reloaded : Troubleshoot common issues - Android Enterprise Help (google.com) If you open the managed Google Play store, and you see a message saying there are no apps to install, it could mean that that your administrator hasn't added any apps yet. However, it can take several hours after an administrator gives access for an app to become available in the managed Google Play store. If after several hours you still can’t see the app in the managed Google Play store, you should delete Play Store data so that it refreshes its cache. To delete work Play Store data on devices running Android in the enterprise: Tap Settings In the Device section, tap Apps. From the account menu, select Work Profile. Scroll to and tap managed Google Play store Tap Clear Data. Tap OK and exit Settings. Open the apps drawer. Tap managed Google Play store and accept the terms and conditions.8.5KViews1like0Comments
