Enterprise default profile
Hi guys. I have run into an issue when trying to provision Android phones as a reseller. When i add new devices to a customer, no matter what their "default configuration" profile is set to. It goes to an old profile called Enterprise Default Profile. Also when downloading the CSV file, the profileID is not something that is found anywhere else. It seems that this setting is pushed from the link with intune. Is there anyway to change this or do i have to disconnect the link? Appreciate all the help i can get! 🙂1.8KViews1like2CommentsRe: Managed google play store in Intune
Hi guys, just a quick update on the issue. There was a bug with an old configuration profile, which allowed all apps. It should have been excluded from the new policies. Because of this, I was not able to see the profile as applied in "Device Configuration". I tried disabling this profile, and it resolved in it working perfectly fine! Thanks for the support. Hi Guys. I am currently working on getting some devices for our warehouse enrolled into Intune. We already have our stuff setup, and plenty of phones enrolled. But for some reason, it seems like there is a disconnect somewhere between Intune and Managed Google play store (Yet not wholly). I can sync apps down, and enforce them onto the phone and they will show up. They will also show up in the google play store. The problem lies with the setting "Allow access to all apps in google play store". When this setting is set to not configured, you should not be able to see the regular app store but only the apps published by your IT Admins. I have tested this on both Corporate owned Work Profile and Corporate owned Fully managed device. Same thing happens. I have also tested on a demo tenant I set up where it works perfectly fine. First 2 pictures are from real tenant, the "bug". Next 4 are from Demo tenant where it is working I appreciate all the help I can get, since I have been in contact with Microsoft already and they just asked me to contact google after multiple hours of troubleshooting. Cheers guys, Niels5.2KViews1like6CommentsRe: Android work and personal profile on a company owned device
Hi Blueskies, It really depends on a couple of different things. Generally the data is seperated when you have a Work Profile and a Personal profile. This however is primarily as far as my experience to protect the company data. There are different ways where it is possible to monitor data on the personal profile, such as Microsoft Defender which can be enabled and report from the Personal profile. Generally though, the apps and data on your personal profile is not monitored.4.1KViews0likes0Comments
