Updated 12th October, 2023 Current status: Fix implemented Issue description: We've received multiple reports that some approved apps are not displayed in the Managed Play store on devices. I've been informed by our Engineering Team that a fix has been implemented and those apps not displaying should now be visible. Hey everyone, For those of you using private apps, I’m pleased to let you know that the Managed Google Play iframe now supports Android App Bundle uploads - enabling larger app sizes and the full benefits of app bundles. With this update, you can now create new private apps using app bundles (with Google generated signing key) and can migrate existing apps to the app bundle by enrolling in Play App signing. Hi all, I’m currently experiencing an issue while setting up Intune MDM on Android devices related to restricting copy and paste to unmanaged apps. Specifically, the issue occurs when users copy text from the Teams app and try to paste within teams app. Here's what happens: After copying text, a message "Your organisation's data cannot be pasted here" immediately appears in the clipboard hud. The copied data seems blocked from being viewed, as the error message appears even before a paste attempt. Despite this, users can manually paste the copied content by long-pressing or selecting "Paste" from the text box. However, when trying to use the "paste from clipboard" feature, the warning message above is pasted instead of the copied content. We’ve set the Intune policy to allow copy/paste within managed apps, but the clipboard interaction seems to be problematic, especially with Gboard. It appears that Gboard, possibly due to Android 13 and 14’s Clipboard Editor, is treated as an unmanaged app, causing Intune’s data protection policies to block its access to the clipboard in a read-only state. Just to clarify: I want users to be able to copy and paste txt within managed apps only. So the allowed behavior of pasting with long press is fine, but I want to get rid of the block that we're getting. Here’s what we’ve tried: Added various exclusions to the Intune policy, including Gboard, Clipboard Editor, and other related apps (full list below), but the issue persists. Testing different configurations hasn’t led to a final solution, and there seems to be limited documentation specifically addressing this clipboard component in relation to Intune's data policies. We’ve escalated the issue internally but wanted to see if anyone in the community has encountered a similar problem or found a solution. Hi Folks, I am focused on to auto-launch my app upon installation when deployed from MDMs, to set up and sync with servers. But I can not find a way to do so. I am curious if there is any way to achieve this by any exclusive support for auto-launch by Android Enterprise programmatically. A few MDMs provide this auto-launch feature. Hi everyone, I did see in previous posts, that we had a problem with missing apps a year ago. (https://www.androidenterprise.community/t5/general-discussions/fixed-service-announcement-available-work-apps-missing-in/td-p/811) Since yesterday we have a problem, that all optional apps are not visibile in the managed Play store. Our users see only the required apps but not the optional apps or webclips. This happens only for users enrolling a new device. Existing users does not have the problem "yet". Hello everyone, I encounter a huge problem with my dual sims and my 2 profiles (work and personal). Everytime i received a call (unknow or a work contact), it's appear on the default dialer app (personal), and I think it's difficult to manager this on a unique application. When i try to create a contact from this app, the system want to add to the personal contact. Is there a way to manage with a work dialer app and connect it to my work profile? Even more, there is a way to link a sim to a work profile? If someone want to call me on my work number, to link it to the work profile? I'm trying to configure Gmail via managed configuration. I discovered that inside the apk there is a bool restriction "allow_unmanaged_accounts" (Allow Unmanaged Accounts), but it is not mentioned in the documentation (https://support.google.com/work/android/answer/7065453?sjid=7171601269613811155-EU). Setting the value does not affect the operation of the application in any way. Description: We are encountering an issue with the Corporate-Owned, Personally Enabled (COPE) enrollment where single and multi-kiosk mode are not working as expected. This issue has been observed during our deployment and testing phases. Steps to Reproduce: Initiate COPE enrollment on an Android device. Complete the enrollment process. Attempt to configure the device in single or multi-kiosk mode. Expected Behavior: The device should enter the specified kiosk mode (single or multi) without any issues. Actual Behavior: The device fails to switch to single or multi-kiosk mode. Instead, it either remains in its previous state or exhibits unexpected behavior. We are working on an app that is used to test our software and products. The app is constantly running on test Android devices. It starts recording the screen based on an event and sends the recording to our backend servers to verify that the test passed. Currently, the whole process halts if the app or OS is restarted until a human approves the screen recording dialog that pops up when the app opens. Is there a way to pre-approve the screen recording for this app using the Enterprise Management APIs. As mentioned before, the app only runs on test devices that are not used by any employees. Currently, we have to constantly monitor these devices just to press the screen recording approval button when the app crashes, has to be restarted, or when the os is updated.
